Abigail Burman (Berkeley Law ’20/EBCLC)

Fall 2019 Housing Clinical Student

Abigail was a composed, quick-thinking advocate for her clients in the housing clinic. While she was always able to connect with our diverse clients and show great empathy, where she really shone was in her litigation work. Abigail never hesitated to take on big tasks like researching an unusual legal issue, drafting a motion to set aside a judgment, and then successfully arguing that motion in court to a judge. I was also incredibly impressed at the poise with which she undertook her first deposition. Abigail will be a force, wherever she ends up!
