Adrian Anderson (Berkeley Law ’20/EBCLC)

Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Consumer Justice Clinical Student

Adrian Anderson joined the Consumer Justice clinic just weeks after his law school career started, and during that time he accomplished so many things. Following a year of stellar service in the Consumer Rights Workshop SLP (student-initiated legal services project), Adrian completed a full year of clinic, where he helped many clients. In his time at clinic, Adrian worked tirelessly on the report “Unsecured Debts, Insecure Communities: The Forced Sale of Family Homes,” figuring out and explaining the entire process behind seizing and selling a person’s home to pay a $600 credit card bill. He served countless Public Records Act (PRA) requests, at the exact same time that he became a first-time parent. We’re not sure which one of these caused all the bleary-eyed mornings, but we do know that we’re equally impressed with all of these accomplishments!
