Spring 2019 and Fall 2019 Housing Clinical Student

Alexis came to us from after participating as a 1L in the Tenants’ Rights Workshop. She has a deep sense of empathy and caring for our clients, some of whom had experienced horrific circumstances. She treated them with kindness, respect, and dignity, and provided excellent legal services for them. I relied on Alexis’s excellent drafting skills during what was a very motion-heavy period in our practice. She took point on drafting and arguing a particularly complex Motion for Summary Judgment against a tough local law firm. Although we ultimately lost the motion, Alexis’s strong advocacy led to a very good settlement agreement that met our client’s needs.
