Cassidy Clark (Berkeley Law ’20/EBCLC)

Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Health and Welfare Clinical Student

Cassidy’s thoughtful and compassionate work in solidarity with our community members set her apart from the vast majority of legal advocates. She truly lives her values of meeting people where they are and giving her all to help people transform extremely challenging situations into personal and legal victories. Cassidy worked with EBCLC for two semesters, contributing to successes too numerous to list and prioritizing safety and support for transgender people of color. She was remarkably skilled at building relationships of trust, which allowed her to go deeper with clients and apply her impeccable legal writing skills to help describe their journeys and compel judges to issue favorable decisions without the need for hearing. Whatever her future endeavors may be, she is sure to improve the lives she touches.
