Spring 2019 Housing Clinical Student

Liz was a passionate and fierce advocate for tenants. At our courthouse clinic, Liz used her Spanish skills to connect with clients whom she only met minutes before successfully contesting their landlord attorneys in negotiations. She was instrumental in securing the housing of a grandmother who was the guardian for her disabled and formerly homeless granddaughter (the landlord had sought to evict the family when the granddaughter was abused on the property by her boyfriend).
