Summer 2018 Community Economic Justice Clinical Student

Harjyot (Jyoti) was a conscientious and sharp advocate for her nonprofit and business clients and contributed keen insight on advancing equitable development in low-income communities of color. She was a reliable and proactive advocate who consistently took ownership of client assignments and communicated with colleagues, clients, and community partners with compassion and poise. Thanks to Jyoti’s thorough due diligence and thoughtful review of her client’s worker cooperative operating agreement, the client moved forward in formalizing their vision for a more cooperative and democratic governance structure. Jyoti was a jewel of a student in CEJ, and we congratulate her and wish her great success in her future endeavors!
