Spring 2020 Health and Welfare Clinical Student

MC was providing care, support, and respite to many while working at EBCLC. Drawing on their direct lived experience, they were unafraid to teach as well as learn. Through their strength, perseverance, and determined advocacy, even one of the toughest administrative law judges was swayed to order relief for MC’s client, whose life will be greatly improved for many years as a result. MC’s wealth of experience helping people navigate health care and housing systems is a tremendous asset and will continue to positively impact innumerable people as MC blazes their own trail through the legal profession toward justice.
