Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 Clean Slate Clinical Student

During Nadia’s tenure at EBCLC, she completed numerous legal research and writing assignments, conducted intakes with dozens of disabled, homeless, and low-income clients, contributed to policy reports that received local, state, and national attention, and actively participated in case rounds where she verbally synthesized complex case problems. She helped to further our advocacy by conducting research on how the DA was working with a private company to charge people a monetary fee for participation in per-charge diversion. This resulted in a white paper that exposed the practice.
