Najwa Alsheikh (Berkeley Law ’20/EBCLC)

Spring 2019 Housing Clinical Student

Najwa was a determined and tenacious advocate for her clients during her time here at EBCLC. In particular, she worked on a case that required immense patience and varied legal research. Not only did she help prepare for two depositions in this case and assist our clients in navigating the court system safely with their disabilities, she even ventured outside of the realm of unlawful detainer proceedings to provide her clients support on a related restraining order. Her commitment to holistic advocacy was apparent throughout her semester here at EBCLC, and will be a guiding principle in her future practice as well.
