Fall 2018 Health and Welfare Clinical Student

Nestor was a natural. His clients loved him. He hunted down an unsheltered client, with whom we had lost contact, after the client had been hospitalized for months. Nestor also assisted a client in her appeal of her denial of Medi-Cal. The client ultimately received Medi-Cal retroactively and no longer was required to pay a hospital bill in the tens of thousands of dollars.
