Fall 2018 Housing Clinical Student
Saxon brought both style and brilliance to the housing team. While we were ready for his fierce advocacy, we were not ready for such a dramatic increase to our style game! Saxon worked on a variety of complex legal cases during his time at EBCLC, but one that stood out was his work for an elderly disabled Berkeley tenant living in subsidized housing. Appalled by the horrible living conditions this tenant was subjected to, Saxon leapt into action and zealously advocated for her to not only remain in her home, but for her to receive the services and support she needed to improve her quality of life. To this day, this tenant remains housed. Saxon’s commitment to EBCLC and the broader community extended beyond semester with us, as he came back as a volunteer, and later became a student board member of EBCLC. Congratulations Saxon and thank you so much for all you’ve done for your clients and EBCLC!
