Spring 2020 Community Economic Justice Clinical Student
From the start, Sophia’s passion and commitment to policy advocacy was evident and inspirational. Because of Sophia’s wealth of political and legislative advocacy experience in Taiwan, supervisors and peers were fortunate enough to deepen their awareness of comparative issues on community benefits in rapidly developing low-income communities. Sophia brought clear vision and tenacity to her advocacy in the clinic and developed a compliance checklist for her nonprofit client as one system for performing timely and complete regulatory reporting obligations. We wish Sophia congratulations and look forward to her potentially continuing to work in CEJ as pro bono counsel very soon!
