Idrian Mollaneda (Berkeley Law ’21)

Spring 2020 Health & Welfare Clinical Student

Idrian was an incredibly enthusiastic and motivated advocate. He was always willing to go the extra mile for our clients. Sometimes it meant going to the Social Security office and waiting hours to try and get someone’s payments restarted. Other times it meant chasing down clients or their case workers just as the pandemic was starting to shut down the world so that they could get the services that they needed. During Idrian’s semester with us, he worked on multiple SSI/SSDI cases, IHSS cases, a DFEH discrimination complaint, a case involving barriers to accessing housing, an immigration consultation, and much more. All of his many clients appreciated the support that he provided to them during an unprecedented time with lots of uncertainty.
