Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 Housing Clinical Student
Kacey is a fierce negotiator who is passionate and committed to preserving the housing of the tenants she assists. Seeing her in action in courthouse clinic was a delight. Kacey worked hard and obtained results I didn’t think were possible, securing funds for tenants to move out, even when at first it seemed like an impossible ask given the circumstance of the case. She shined in her interactions with tenants and in communicating with opposing counsel. Kacey also took a genuine interest in the clients we were assisting. That is a level of commitment and passion that you cannot teach, but that Kacey innately possesses. Kacey has it! She will be a fierce attorney and EBCLC’s Housing Unit has been lucky to have her on our team during all three years of Kacey’s law school career. I look forward to observing how Kacey’s career unfolds.
