Summer 2019 Community Economic Justice Clinical Student
Kennedy was a meticulous, driven and intelligent advocate who wasn’t afraid to share her insight as a woman of color aspiring to do transactional legal work. Valuing the importance of racial equity in this field, Kennedy never shied away from any task given to her whether that was organizing a nonprofit’s corporate records book or researching and writing pivotal legal memos to support our public policy work. In fact, Kennedy was so committed to our mission and work that after working with our clinic, she joined our EBCLC Board of Directors as a student board member to continue supporting EBCLC and diversify its decision-makers. Kennedy’s future is so bright, and we congratulate her and wish her only the best!
