Maddie adeptly worked on a variety of immigration applications from Special Immigrant Juvenile Status to DACA to defensive asylum to complex crimmigration issues. Her legal research was excellent, and her advocacy for clients was steadfast, insightful, and compassionate. Maddie also coordinated a large-scale training for fellow law students on trauma-informed lawyering and vicarious trauma, demonstrating her thoughtful approach to advocacy and equipping others with knowledge and skills to better serve clients and sustain their own journeys as social justice advocates.
