Adrienne Spiegel

Adrienne helps young people thrive as their full selves. She currently works as a lawyer with EBCLC’s Education Defense and Justice for Youth (EDJY) program. Previously, Adrienne was a fellow at Public Justice, where she developed and filed a case targeting qualified immunity to help victims of state violence hold law enforcement officers accountable. She has also worked to deconstruct sex-based stereotypes and end discrimination by representing young people in federal lawsuits against their school districts, supporting litigation for three years at the ACLU’s LGBT Project, and serving as board co-chair for the Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network. Adrienne clerked for Judge Marsha Berzon on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
