Elizabeth attended the University of Cincinnati School of Law, where she was fortunate to be an Urban Morgan Human Rights Fellow. She has focused her career on public interest issues and consumer law. She began her law career in legal aid, working as a staff attorney for Prairie State Legal Services in Kankakee and Waukegan, Illinois. After seven years, she transitioned to the Illinois Attorney General’s office, where she worked as an Assistant Attorney General in their Consumer Fraud Bureau. Currently, Elizabeth is a Registered Legal Services Attorney/Clinical Supervisor at East Bay Community Law Center’s Consumer Justice Clinic.
