Bruno De Sousa

Bruno was born in Brazil, moving to San Francisco at the age of 12. He is a first-generation college graduate from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. He comes to EBCLC from Public Rights Project, a non-profit organization based in Oakland, where he was a Development and Operations intern. His background as a queer, immigrant individual is the reason why he is passionate about work that educates and uplifts underrepresented communities and fights against systemic inequality.

In his free time, Bruno enjoys reading books and watching movies. His favorite novel is Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and his favorite film is Mulholland Drive by director David Lynch.
