Jelitza received her Sociology degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 2017.

She has been part of different community nonprofits centered around Education for youth in her hometown of Pomona, CA. She spent multiple summers interning at Pomona Hope, a nonprofit whose values uphold education, homelessness advocacy, and uniting families/neighborhoods to create a safer city. With Spanish being her native language, she hopes to break language barriers to help clients.

Jelitza joined EBCLC in July, 2018.
