Education

B.A, Sociology/Cultural Anthropology, Hispanic Studies Lewis & Clark College (2018)

Kelly joined EBCLC’s Immigration Team in the fall of 2021. Kelly grew up in San Jose and is glad to be working in the Bay Area. She has always been committed to serving her local communities through a lens of trauma-informed care.

Kelly firmly believes that compassionate and affordable legal counsel is a precondition to healing from trauma.

Kelly graduated from Lewis & Clark College in 2018 with a double major in Sociology/ Cultural Anthropology and Hispanic Studies. Her degree has given her the analytical tools to think critically and empathetically about the complex systems that shape people’s experiences of immigration. Kelly became interested in immigration legal advocacy while working as a domestic violence advocate in Portland, Oregon. As an advocate, she worked supporting immigrant and refugee survivors of domestic violence to navigate the complex immigration legal system. Prior to joining EBCLC, she worked as a paralegal at an immigration law firm in Oakland. She is excited to join a team that takes a holistic approach to legal services.
