Shallyn Wells graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 2017. During law school, Shallyn volunteered at Bay Area Legal Aid, Legal Aid Society of D.C., and SurvJustice as well as spending a summer in EBCLC’s Housing Practice doing eviction defense for low-income tenants in the East Bay. In 2018, Shallyn joined EBCLC as a Staff Attorney and Clinical Supervisor in the Housing Practice to continue defending tenants in Alameda County from displacement through eviction.
Prior to joining EBCLC, Shallyn was a Staff Attorney at Legal Services of Northern California’s Redwood Regional Office in Eureka, CA. During her time there, Shallyn represented clients in a wide range of civil cases including housing, public benefits, criminal record expungement, and domestic violence restraining orders.
