Brigitte Nicoletti

Brigitte joined EBCLC in 2021 as a Staff Attorney on the Homelessness Advocacy Project. In this role, she engages in impact litigation, policy advocacy, and direct services to support the unhoused community in Alameda County. Part of her work involves engaging in reproductive justice advocacy for unhoused pregnant people. Brigitte also advocates for low-income tenants facing evictions and other housing related issues. 

Prior to joining EBCLC as a staff attorney, Brigitte was a clinical student in EBCLC’s Clean Slate Unit for three semesters while at Berkeley Law, and also had internships with the Youth Law Center, the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C., and Disability Rights California. She worked as a post-bar fellow with the Juvenile Defender Unit at Contra Costa County Public Defender’s Office, where she worked on a writ to prevent the unlawful detention of minors deemed incompetent to stand trial and to fight transfer of youth to adult court.
