Sample language for gifts in a will or trust (for illustration purposes only, not legal advice):

• Specific Bequest: “$_______ shall be distributed to East Bay Community Law Center, a nonprofit organization, EIN 94-3042565, with an address at 2921 Adeline Street, Berkeley, CA 94703, or its lawful successor, for its general purposes.”
• Residuary Bequest: “[All, or ____% of] the rest, residue and remainder of my estate shall be distributed to East Bay Community Law Center, a nonprofit organization, EIN 94-3042565, with an address at 2921 Adeline Street, Berkeley, CA 94703, or its lawful successor, for its general purposes.”
