Community Economic Justice Services
Advancing people-oriented economic development.
The Community Economic Justice Program (CEJ) provides legal, technical assistance to organizers in building community resources such as land trusts, cooperatives, and credit unions. It also advances community benefits and policies that build long-term solutions to poverty. CEJ partners with community groups and coalitions to advocate and support policy measures at a local and state level that benefit our client base of people who are most disproportionately impacted by the affordable housing crisis and gentrification in the East Bay.
