Whitney practices both law and social work at EBCLC and supports staff and students in the provision of holistic representation. Her direct work focuses on advocating for young people being pushed out schools and into the juvenile legal system. She engages in a full range of litigation, representing clients in expulsion hearings, special education proceedings, and in juvenile court.

Whitney started at EBCLC in 2014 as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, where she worked to bring an interdisciplinary legal/social work model of representation to youth and families in both the EDJY and Housing programs.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Whitney worked as a social worker at the Center for Family Representation, where she worked alongside of attorneys to defend parents navigating the family policing system.
