Eva works with low-income Alameda County community members who are fighting to stay housed and keep housing affordable. She represents and counsels tenants in eviction cases, administrative proceedings, and other housing-related legal issues. As a clinical supervisor, Eva teaches law students who are learning to become thoughtful and powerful advocates.
Eva joined EBCLC’s Housing Program as a Staff Attorney in 2026. Before joining EBCLC, Eva advocated for San Francisco tenants facing eviction at Eviction Defense Collaborative. Her past work experience includes internships with EBCLC’s Housing and Consumer Justice Practices, Legal Services of Northern California, and the Solano County Public Defender. Eva’s work is inspired by the sheer might of survival.
