Who We Are
Lizzie Fulton
Co-Director, Immigration
Education
Lizzie joined EBCLC in 2026 as Co-Director of the Immigration Practice. Lizzie’s path with EBCLC comes full circle: she was trained in the Immigration Clinic as a law student at Berkeley, and is proud to return to an organization and a team fiercely dedicated to protecting and uplifting immigrants across the Bay Area.
Lizzie began her legal career as an Immigrant Justice Corps fellow with UnLocal and later served as Supervising Attorney, where she spent nearly a decade defending New Yorkers in removal proceedings. There she helped individuals and families secure lawful status through a wide variety of relief, including asylum, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, and humanitarian protections for survivors of gender-based violence. Lizzie also spent a year working with the Instituto Para las Mujeres en la Migración in Mexico City during the Remain in Mexico crisis, representing asylum seekers along the border.
Prior to law school, Lizzie taught at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, and did grantmaking for civil society groups at Open Society Foundations.
