Michael is a partner at the law firm Morrison & Foerster LLP. His practice focuses on representing a broad range of investors, including institutional investors, private foundations, and public charities in deploying capital in early-stage and late-stage financings, mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases and sales. He also advises companies on structuring for impact, including through the use of perpetual purpose trusts, hybrid or “tandem” arrangements between nonprofit and for-profit entities, and other corporate governance mechanisms.
