Isaiah Paik
Student Board Member
Education
J.D. Candidate
Berkeley Law School (2026)
B.A., Sociology
Brown University (2022)
Isaiah is a current student at Berkeley Law School. He has volunteered in EBCLC’s housing practice; first empowering tenants to prevent their evictions in Tenants Rights Workshop, then fighting evictions and practicing litigation in the Housing Clinic. Isaiah is thrilled to contribute to EBCLC’s sustainability and growth as a board member. He also hopes to give back to EBCLC for playing a critical role in his legal education.
Prior to Law School, Isaiah studied Sociology at Brown University. While at Brown he directed a free summer camp for refugee youth in Rhode Island, ultimately transforming the organization from an amorphous, struggling college student-run program to a fledgling Americorp nonprofit. Isaiah is also active in his local union, UAW 4811, which represents all UC Graduate Student Workers (including Law Student tutors like him) and sings baritone in Berkeley’s acapella group, the Pro Bonotes.
