Meghan Gordon graduated from Berkeley Law in 2011. During law school, Meghan volunteered in EBCLC’s Community Legal Outreach program for public benefits, and later in EBCLC’s Housing Practice.

After graduating in 2011, Meghan continued to volunteer with EBCLC’s Housing Practice as a pro bono attorney. In 2014, Meghan joined EBCLC’s Housing Practice as a Staff Attorney and Clinical Instruction and now represents low income tenants in Alameda County facing eviction.

Prior to joining EBCLC, Meghan was a litigation associate in the Washington DC office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr and later at Shartsis Friese in San Francisco. As a litigation associate, Meghan represented clients in a broad range of business litigation cases as well as securities investigations. During her time in private practice, Meghan worked on numerous pro bono cases, including a Section 1983 lawsuit filed on behalf of a mentally incapacitated death row inmate.
