“We want our court systems to support what our public health officials are telling us, which is to stay home… We want to encourage a stop of all evictions so that people can stay in their homes, not just because we don’t want them to not go to crowded courtrooms, but, also, because if evictions continue to proceed in this state, people are going to be removed from their homes and either end up on the street or in the homes of friends and family members, and that’s just going to facilitate the spread of this virus.
