Divya is the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Alpine Investors. As the company’s first Head of DEI, Divya’s role is focused on driving the strategy and execution of all DEI initiatives at both at Alpine and at their 70+ portfolio companies.

Prior to her work in finance, Divya was the recipient of the City of San Francisco’s 2018 Fish Fellowship. During her time working in city government, she launched Mayor London Breed’s signature youth workforce program, successfully designing the City of San Francisco’s largest, fully paid internship initiative with over 2000 youth and 150 employers engaging in the program’s first year.

When she’s not working, Divya remains deeply connected to her Bay Area community, and serves on the board as Fundraising Chair for Oasis for Girls, a SF-based community organization focused on supporting young women of color to cultivate the skills, knowledge, and confidence to discover their dreams and build strong futures. She credits much of her professional success to the skills and mindsets she learned early in her career as a first-grade teacher in Arizona. Divya is an alumna of Teach For America and holds dual degrees in Sociology and Classical Languages from the University of Nebraska.
