Rebecca is a Staff Attorney and Clinical Supervisor at the East Bay Community Law Center’s (EBCLC’s) Clean Slate Practice, where she advocates to remove barriers to employment and civic participation for people with conviction histories through client representation in post-conviction relief and policy advocacy.

Prior to joining EBCLC, Rebecca worked at the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, where she enforced local anti-discrimination laws through discrimination investigations, including under the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, and provided training on advancing racial equity. Rebecca spent the first six years of her legal career at The Bronx Defenders’ Family Defense Practice, representing parents adversely impacted by the child welfare system and training junior attorneys in a holistic defense model.
