Ruby was born and raised in the Bay Area and is always looking for new ways to invest in her community. During her undergraduate studies, she worked with the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, attended the Reproductive Rights Activists Service Corporation Conference, and assisted with research on the novel “Policing Black Athletes: Racial Disconnect in Sports.” She is drawn to EBCLC’s collaborative approach to seeking racial justice. After 3 years of working in the corporate Insurance Industry, she is looking forward to a career that re-aligns her with her passions and surrounds her with like minded professionals.
