Education
Courtney McCausland is the Co-Director of the Immigration program at the East Bay Community Law Center. She is an advocate, educator, and Applied Compassion Facilitator.
Courtney was drawn to EBCLC ’s mission and holistic approach to legal advocacy, which reflect the values that drive her own work in legal services. She has a particular passion for serving women, and actively seeks to leverage her privileges to amplify the voices of marginalized communities.
Prior to joining EBCLC, Courtney was the Managing Attorney of the Immigration Litigation Division at Catholic Charities East Bay. She also volunteers as a Panel Attorney with the AIDS Legal Referral Panel and as an advisor to the board of The Choral Project: a choir and arts non-profit organization. In her free time, Courtney enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and wineries, singing, dancing, reading, and cultivating community.
