Gabby is a first-generation college graduate, born and raised in Northern California, and the daughter of two immigrants from Central America. Before law school, Gabby worked in public affairs and communications at a health care organization and a legal aid organization in Silicon Valley.

In her first year at Berkeley Law, Gabby participated in the Tenants Rights Workshop with the East Bay Community Law Center and has worked with the Housing unit as a legal intern each semester since. Gabby is passionate about advocating for tenants rights and assisting low-income renters facing eviction.
