Laura also successfully argued a case at the Louisiana Supreme Court that struck down a law criminalizing selling art outdoors as violating the First Amendment. In law school, Laura worked at the Federal Defenders of Arizona and the Southern Center for Human Rights in Atlanta, and also spent two semesters at Stanford’s Community Law Clinic doing eviction defense, expungement, and disability benefits work.
