Prior to EBCLC, Perla worked as a secretary assistant at a litigation firm. She liked the office setting but dislike the limited client interaction.

She then worked as a receptionist at a non-profit immigration firm and then as a legal assistant for a small private immigration firm. This helped grow her passion for non-profit work and lead her to work at EBCLC. During her free time, she practices wellness by meditating.
