Tiffany Renee Thomas joined EBCLC’s board in 2012. She holds the position of Assistant General Counsel – Employment Law at Genentech, where she provides advice and support on all aspects of employment law and HR compliance.

In this capacity, Tiffany is also the legal adviser to Genentech’s Chief Diversity Office, which focuses on three pillars: Fostering Belonging, Advancing Inclusive Research, and Transforming Society. Prior to joining Genentech, Tiffany held in-house positions at Visa and GE Digital and the position of employment partner at Reed Smith LLP where she started her legal career. Tiffany is also a diversity and inclusion advocate, trainer, and public speaker.

A native of Richmond, CA, Tiffany is a graduate of Stanford University and Berkeley Law and a proud alum of the EBCLC Welfare Clinic and Alumni Advisory Board.
