This November, the stakes couldn’t be higher for EBCLC’s community. Multiracial democracy and maternal health will either be fortified or decimated. Women of color leadership will make the difference.
We are called to action. On September 26th, we invite you to join us for our Community Open House featuring voter registration and political education. We will provide free legal services and information on ballot measures impacting our clients. In partnership with the Alameda County Registrar of Voters, we will provide onsite registration, making this election more accessible for our community.
Schedule of Events:
11am-4pm Open House:
Voter Registration and Education & Free Legal Services: Housing, Immigration, Education Defense and Youth Justice, Clean Slate, Consumer Justice, Health and Welfare, Social Work, Community Economic Justice

As a women of color-centered, community-based organization, we believe EBCLC can uniquely contribute to this political moment. Every day, our attorneys and legal workers see the impact of systemic disenfranchisement on our majority Black and Latinx women clients. We also see these clients leverage our services to uplift their families and whole communities. In partnership, we hold political systems accountable and advance a robust, inclusive democracy. We hope to see you at our Community Open House and Celebration on September 26th.
