Community Health Day

October 14, 2021

In partnership with the Alameda County Department of Public Health and Legal Services for Prisoners with Children, EBCLC will be hosting a Community Health Day on November 6, 2021. Our South Berkeley office will host a mobile COVID-19 vaccination unit on-site and EBCLC staff provide free legal services to promote wellness and family resilience for women of color and their networks.

This event is in furtherance of EBCLC’s mission to promote justice and build a community that is more secure, productive, healthy, and hopeful. In April 2021, we released findings from our study on vaccination rates among our largely women-of-color client base. Since then, EBCLC has continued to use our 30 years of expertise and community credibility to advance a holistic response to COVID19. By providing free in-person legal services for all eight of EBCLC’s practice areas and conducting women of color-centered outreach, our Community Health Day will increase COVID-19 vaccination rates for our clients and their networks.

For more information on this upcoming event, please review our press release and follow our updates on social media.  Individuals interested in registering for a vaccine, can contact our office at 510.548.4040 or click here.
